I was honoured to be asked by Julian from Julz Industries to help him design a colour scheme for this project to build a Yarning Circle/Meeting Place in Nambucca shire, Scotts Head.
My job was to come up with a colour scheme that would work with his wavey design where the three segments symbolise the bush, the river, and the ocean. I tried many colour combinations whilst keeping in mind the surroundings of the new Meeting Place. I wanted to pick something that feels grounding, warm and relaxing.
“Recently I had a been asked to tender to design and build a yarning circle/meeting place for the Nambucca shire council in my home town of Scotts head. I asked Sonja if she’d be interested in helping with the design and even though it wasn’t something she usually designed I was extremely impressed with the outcome.
