I was reached out by the local Mal Club to design a sticker for the local community and a shirt design for the next surf competition Mal Classics. I was asked to incorporate our iconic surf break, the surf culture, our community and we asked advice from our Elders how they would like to portray the land and the sea in my sticker design.

I followed the same theme with my shirt design. My ethos in merch design is that I want to design something SO friggin RAD that people want to wear it even after the event. I don’t want to design shirts that people are only using as sleeping shirts. So this is what came out.
I took these photos of this guy yesterday morning! Nearly two years later (!!!), he is still rocking the tee and it makes my heart melt to see this!
